Once known as Toverberg, the Magic Mountain, its familiar silhouette has long marked this corner of the Karoo. To us, it is a welcome sign that rest is near.
That is why Coleskop sits at the heart of our logo. Its broad, flat summit connects Kambroo Bistro to Colesberg, to the open country around us and to the feeling of arriving somewhere you belong.

The kambroo is a humble plant with a remarkable root that stores precious moisture through dry seasons.
In the Karoo, where water is precious and the land asks for resilience, it is a quiet symbol of nourishment and endurance.
Our name honours that spirit. There is comfort in simple things done with care: a generous meal, a warm welcome and a place to pause.
